Let’s collaborate !
Michelle Mong Qi Wu (She/Her, b. 1996) is a creative technologist and new media artist born in Fremont, California, raised in Shenzhen, China, and based in New York City.

Blending creativity with technical expertise, Michelle uses physical computing, robotics, fabrication, and creative coding to create work that ranges from interactive installations to experimental performances. Her practice explores playfulness, absurdity, fleeting emotions, and the nuances of everyday moments, often challenging conventional perspectives on technology and its role in society.

Believing that art is for everyone, Michelle makes artwork that invites interactivity and participation, where audience engagement often is essential to the completion of the piece. Through each piece, Michelle seeks to create shared experiences that invite fun, reflection, and connection.
